Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - Cambridge.
Chemical Engineering is a broad field of study that encompasses Chemistry, Biology, Applied Mathematics and Engineering Science. Some of the things you'll study during courses in Chemical Engineering are mechanics, thermodynamics, chemical reaction kinetics, and process design.
The 10-ENG degree program is designed to offer flexibility within the context of chemical engineering while ensuring significant engineering content, and is a complement to our chemical engineering degree programs 10 and 10-B. The degree is designed to enable students to pursue a deeper level of understanding in a specific interdisciplinary field that is relevant to the chemical engineering.
One of these may be substituted with 10.00 Molecule Builders, 10.01 Ethics for Engineers, a second term of 10.490 Integrated Chemical Engineering (with permission of instructor), or one subject of at least 9 units in Chemical Engineering. 4: Graduate subjects may not be used as restricted electives.
Redefine the material world — and even make a bit of atomic magic. Our faculty and students explore the entire lifecycle of materials, from extraction and manufacturing of raw goods to the distribution, usage, and disposal of products. At MIT, you can go classical with the Glass Lab and Forge, or see the future unfold at MIT.nano (due in 2018).
This year, the program will award up to 90 high-achieving students with full funding to pursue a graduate education at Stanford, including full-time master's and PhD's in Chemical Engineering. To be considered, you must apply to Knight-Hennessy Scholars by October 09, 2019, and separately apply to the Chemical Engineering department by November 29, 2019.
Chemical Engineering PhD Scholarships and DTP Studentships. Unless you state specifically in your application that you have already secured funding and do not wish to be considered for any of the College scholarships, you will automatically be considered for the Chemical Engineering PhD Scholarships and any other College-administered scholarships for which you may be eligible.
Program Overview. The doctoral program in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) at MIT allows enrolled students to specialize at the doctoral level in a computation-related field of their choice through focused coursework and a doctoral thesis. This program is offered through a number of participating departments, namely.
